Happy Mayday! Power to the workers of the World (word) I can appreciate the importance of this day: but sadly, I was unable to attend any of the festivities or rallies, since I had to go to work and class...

This journal is dedicated to We met during out first semester as Freshmen at SF State in "Engineering 220: alternative energy and conservation" (I LOVED the class, but she wasn't so fond of it) We became friends over the semester, which culminated in a final exam study night that turned into a movie night involving "Yellow Submarine" I don't think any studying came out of that day, but something more awesome happened instead

Not only is she an AWESOME ARTIST (check her gallery out!) and an amazing friend- she is also my new roomie! About two weeks ago, we went to the San Francisco Cherry Blossom Festival and found out that we had an perfect situation on our hands: she needed a new roomie and I needed a place to move: the rest was history!

Yesterday, we had a sweet adventure! 31 Flavors was having its annual 31 cent scoop day benefiting the Firefighters' Association. We waited in line eating Pad Thai for an hour, surrounded by excited children, students and adults alike. We ordered a ton of ice cream and paid with our pocket change, and waited for the bus in the cold afterwards. It was beautiful!

I am looking forward to a good deal more adventuring with her this summer, and perhaps some art colaberation (dude, she even found me a sweet Wacom Tablet on Craigslist!) We are going to have the nerdiest apartment of all time, and it will be perfect. Only time will tell what is going to happen, but I know it is gonna rock!!
